Yellow Coneflower

Echinacea paradoxa, the yellow coneflower, Bush’s purple coneflower, or Ozark coneflower, is a North American species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is native to southern MissouriArkansas, and south-central Oklahoma, It is listed as threatened in Arkansas.

When the petals are down towards the ground like this I find it easy to understand how they got the name coneflower, this is one of the I might be able to remember and recognize in the future.
