Birds around town…

Another long traffic light, another eye catching bird, in part because the light and pose offered such a nice silhouette.

I often think that a lot of time is wasted being frustrated by the things we can’t control or change when we could take a breath and find something in the moment to enjoy.

It doesn’t have to be big, or monumental. There’s no need for it to be perfect… or even something others would appreciate. Whether it tickles your funny bone, reminds you of a friend or loved one, or gives you that moment of joy for any of a thousand reasons, simply accept and appreciate it.

I enjoy the birds and flowers alongside the road, in part because they are so easy to drive right past. So easy to miss as I’m rushing around. And the birds! I can’t help but imagine their views of our lives and world.
